What Whatt is. Whatt (whatt.net) is a free browser tool that estimates power and water costs at home. It is operated as a personal project site.

Data we store. Your settings (rates, My Home list, theme, recent items) stay on your device in browser localStorage. We do not run a login system and we do not receive that data on a server of our own.

Advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, measure how ads perform, and (if you allow it) personalize ads based on your activity across the web. You can learn more and manage ad settings at Google Advertising and Ad Settings.

Third parties. Besides Google AdSense (and the host that serves this site), we do not sell or share your personal information. Estimates and app data are not uploaded by Whatt to third parties.

Children. Whatt is a general utility tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes. If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the app version in the footer.

    About Whatt

Whatt is a free tool for estimating what power and water cost at home — by appliance, habit, and your own rates when you have them.

How it works. Pick something (like an AC, dryer, or shower), set how you use it, and Whatt shows a simple dollar estimate. Optional “What if” ideas help you compare small changes. Everything runs in your browser.

Honest estimates. Numbers use typical wattage/flow and area averages unless you enter your bill rate. This is usage cost only — not every line on a real utility bill (fixed fees, taxes, tiers, and time-of-use can differ).

Private by design. No account. Your My Home list and rates stay on this device. See the Privacy link for ads and cookies.
